1st visit :

August 12th, 2026 : Signature Peral Milk Tea

Most modern boba tea is sweetened with cane sugar and flavored syrups. Unlike many modern versions, this shop uses brown sugar, so the sweetness is much lighter and less intense. The tea flavor was not as strong as I expected. Instead, the fresh milk and brown sugar worked together to create a simple, clean, and pleasant milky flavor.

2nd visit :

August 18th, 2026 : Winter Melon Tea with Fresh Milk

This was my first time in Taiwan trying winter melon tea mixed with fresh milk. Winter melon tea is one of the more strongly flavored traditional drinks in Taiwan, but I was surprised by how well it worked with the milk. The distinct winter melon aroma and the fresh milky flavor didn’t clash at all. Instead, they blended together nicely and made the drink surprisingly refreshing.
