Sean’s Review

Many Taiwanese have a stereotype that restaurants serving Southeast Asian food tend to be cramped, messy, or less hygienic. This restaurant feels completely different. The interior is surprisingly elegant and comfortable, with a much more polished atmosphere than I expected. According to the owner, before they took over the space, it was actually a café

Besides their classic pho, the restaurant also offers other popular Vietnamese dishes, including bánh mì (Vietnamese baguette sandwiches) and Vietnamese spring rolls

Sour and Spicy Soup with Coconut Milk (Pho)
The bowl of pho I ordered is basically a “hybrid” dish combining Thai hot and sour soup with Vietnamese pho.
As soon as it arrived, I could immediately smell the sweet and tangy aroma of the Thai-style broth. After my first sip, I was surprised by how rich and flavorful it was. The broth was both sour and sweet without being spicy, which instantly opened up my appetite. The rice noodles were also very fresh, with a smooth texture that made the whole bowl incredibly satisfying. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up drinking every last drop of the broth.
